STORIES OF AMAZING RECOVERIES

Submitted By: Orla Hassett

I got pregnant when i was 18yrs of age in 1997. Im small for my age, 4ft 10inc. I was left go 8-10 days over my due date. My daughter was born with Cerebel Palsy, due to lack of oxygen.

She's 9 now and has a lot to cope with. I was told when she was 1 that she was blind also and would have mental and physical disabilties. She cant do everyday things for herself and needs 24hr care.

She won a case against the South East Health Board last year but it took me a long time to accept what had happened to her. I would love to email other people in my situation, especially if they around my age.
